→ You can remove the bandage in 3 to 4 hours, Do NOT re-bandage, since the tattoo is just begining the healing process, covering it will only let the bandage soak up the ink.

→ Make sure to wash your tattoo quite a bit using a anti-bacterial soap and warm water. Use a clean towel to pat your tattoo dry. Please do not use anything that might scratch or irritage your new tattoo.

→ Clean this way as often as you possibly can. The more your tattoo is properly cleaned, the better it will heal!

→ Make sure you DO NOT soak your tattoo or expose it to the sun (or tanning beds), salt, chlorinated or fresh water for at least 3 weeks. If you must be outside in the blazin sun, make sure your tattoo is shaded! Your tattoo must be totally healed before you can go swimming.

→ Put some A&D ointment in a thin coat. Make sure you wipe away any excess. The tattoo and area around it should not look all glossy. Only use a thin coat of that stuff! You should do this for about 3 -4 days, then you are free to use non-scented lotion such as Lubriderm. Make sure you clean your hands before and after.

→ Throughout the healing process, you will noticed that your tattoo area will start to flake, leave it alone and DO NOT itch it! This is also normal during this process. If you peal or itch it it might become irritated!
