Cleaning Suggestion
All piercings should be cleaned twice daily for suggested healing times.
Start by washing your hands!
Using a clean cotton swab gently remove all crusty material from around the piercing. USE CLEAN WARM WATER.
Make sure NOT to rotate the jewelry.
After your piercing is crust free, fill a NEW CLEAN disposable small cup with warm water and add a drop of liquid dial soap to the warm water.
Using a new cotton swab gently clean the jewelry and piercing.
RINSE well to remove any excess soap.

In a new small cup mix 4 oz. of warm water to about an 1/8th teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt.
Dip 2 cotton balls in solution and use as a compress over the piercing.
Mouth Piercings: rinse 5-6x's a day with basic diluted listerine or other non-irritating mouth wash.
For lip and labret piercings, follow the oral aftercare as well as the cleaning for above the neck and body piercings.
Mouth: Do Not Do the following!
Absolutely no beer or hard liquor for the first 2 - 2.5 weeks.
No spicy foods, citrus or dairy products for 2 - 2.5 weeks.
No face soaps that contain benzoil peroxide.
Sorry guys/girls. . .No hard kissing for close to 2 months.
Sorry guys/girls. . .No oral sex for close to 2 months.
Below the Belt
Clean a minimum of 2x's a day with a non-irritant soap such as baby shampoo.
Lather around the piercing and area surrounding the piercing, rinse and pat dry.
Basic Things to Not Do
Touch your piercing with unwashed hands, or even play with it for that fact.
Overclean your piercing, too much is just too much, even with good intentions.
Allow your piercing to come in contact with cosmetics, oils, body fluids, lotions, etc.
Go into pool, hot tub, or any body of water until it is completely healed.
Use alcohol, peroxide, neosporin, tea tree oil, hibicleanse, betadine, iodine, bactiracin, etc.
Use face soaps that contain benzoil peroxide.
DO NOT REMOVE YOUR JEWELRY IF YOU SUSPECT AN INFECTION -- CALL US or CALL YOUR DOCTOR!
